One of the most important rights that Americans have is the right to own tangible property and the right to dispose of said property in a manner that the individual sees fit. Kelo v. City of New London did more to damage property owners rights than any action in a generation. Fortunately, Virginia has taken steps to protect Commonwealth property owners from encroachment on a needless basis.
As your delegate, I will continue the fight to protect Virginia’s property owners and farmers by removing useless environmental regulations that inhibit the potential profitability of the land. Of course, I support responsible use of property and am a big supporter of individual conservation efforts.
